“ Metcalfe has a fine, clear style, uncluttered by mannerisms, while the accompanying sextet provide much more than mere anonymous support... ”
The Observer
“ Bridget seems to cover all sorts of musical ground, she is definitely not an artiste to be pigeonholed. One minute it's jazzy key changes, next it's a lament and next is a summery swayer all sung I might add from the soul and with a great deal of passion. Bridget is quite diminutive in stature but she has a very big voice and knows exactly how to use it. I can't fault Bridget. Sublime modern British summer soul, bloomin' gorgeeeeeous... ”
